Lansdowne Speaker - Dr. Victor Nizet
We were honored to host Dr. Victor Nizet as our Lansdowne lectureship speaker in BCMB for 2025. Over two day Dr. Nizet had a great visit interacting with faculty, staff, and students from across the department and gave an inspiring public lecture. Thank you Victor for a great visit, it was a pleasure to host you at UVic!
Science meets Parliament
Dr Tuffs participated in this year's Science meets parliament BC at the BC legislative assembly. This gave scientists and policy makers an opportunity to interact and learn about each others works. Thank you to MLAs Nina Krieger, Mandeep Dhaliwal, and John Rustad for meeting and being so generous with their time.
